Our History

The company that would become Network Land Title was started in 2002 as Elyria Land Title (ELT). Started by title industry veterans Robert “Bob” Piazza, Sharon Yearly, and Judith “Judy” A. Glenn after leaving a national underwriter, ELT set itself apart by having a focus on customer service that our founders thought was being lost in the title industry.

As the years went on, ELT became the go-to title company in Lorain County. In 2008, with the retirement of Robert and Sharon, along with the economic tumult of the times, ELT’s underwriter, Old Republic National Title Company (ORT), purchased a majority share in ELT while Judy maintained a minority ownership until 2010. During this time, we were known as Old Republic Title of Northern Ohio (ORTNO).

After ORT finished purchasing the remainder of ORTNO in 2010, we were brought under the Old Republic Title umbrella and operated as their only direct operation in Ohio. Judy continued to lead and grow the business into one of Ohio’s largest independent title offices serving customers in all 88 counties of the state.

In early 2021, Judy and ORT mutually decided that, to enable further growth throughout the state, the Elyria office would once again become an agency. Thus, Network Land Title was created to ensure the future while also keeping the experience from the past 20 years as a strategic advantage.

Through all of this, Judy and her staff have remained true to their core belief of providing superior customer service to all of their customers, regardless of the name on building.
